How to Modify an FTP Account Credentials

After you have created an FTP or File Transfer Protocol account you might want to remove access for that user or simply to change the password so it's important that you know how to modify the account details. In this simple tutorial, let's learn how you can modify the credentials of an FTP account.

After logging into the Plesk control panel navigate to and click Websites & Domains in the side navigation bar.

From there scroll until you find the website that you need to set up the FTP account and click on the 'Show More' button.

You will find there the 'Web Hosting Access' button, click that to proceed.

There you can change the credentials and when you are done press the 'OK' button to save.

Once that's completed and the changes are saved, you can log in with the new FTP details.
