How to Request a Refund

Our 60-day money-back guarantee ensures that all new customers are eligible for a full refund, no questions asked, only if a refund request is made to our team within the first 60 days of service. Please follow the instructions below to cancel your account and request a refund:

1. Log into your billing account by clicking this link: https://my.peopleshost.com/clientarea.php

2. Follow these instructions to process your cancellation through your billing account.

3. Once you have reached the Request Cancellation page, please fill in the box for a brief description of your reason for cancellation. In this box, please also state that you would like a refund issued to your account.

4. A billing and support team member will process your cancellation and issue a refund.

Refunds will be issued in the form of the first payment. If you paid with a credit card for your initial order, we would issue a refund to that specific credit card. We would not send you a check or your refunded amount to a separate bank account or PayPal account if that were not your form of payment.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING BELOW
You are eligible to request and receive a full refund if you are a new customer. Full refunds are not issued for
existing customers with accounts older than 60 days. If you have any questions regarding our refund policy, contact support. Please refer to the REFUND POLICY section of the Terms of Service for further details regarding refunds and what products and services are covered.

Domain Names
If you registered a free domain name with your order and canceled within the first 60 days, your refund will be the total cost of hosting services minus the current retail price of the domain. For example, if you ordered an annual People's Basic Linux hosting plan costing $108 and request a cancellation + refund, we will refund you for the amount of $95.71 ($108 hosting - $12.29).

No refunds are offered on domain registrations. PeoplesHost reserves the right to deduct fees for value-added services.

PayPal Subscriptions
If your payments are made through PayPal, you'll need to make sure you cancel any recurring payments set up for your hosting plan in PayPal. Canceling your agreement in PayPal will tell PayPal to stop sending PeoplesHost payments for your services moving forward. If you do not cancel your recurring payment agreement in your PayPal account, you will continue to see payments made for your hosting services. Read more on How to Cancel a PayPal Subscription.

If you have any questions regarding our refund policy, please don't hesitate to contact support before making your cancellation and refund request.
