Do you manage my Windows VPS server?

Yes. We setup and deploy your Windows VPS environment so when the server is delivered to you it’s updated, secure, and ready to host your application(s).

Our Windows servers typically come pre-installed with the following software.

  • Windows 2012 R2 (fully licensed, activated & updated)
  • Internet Information Services 8
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012
  • Filezilla Server (for FTP access)
  • MySQL 5.6
  • hMailServer (email services)
  • ICS Bind (DNS services)
  • Windows Firewall (pre-configured)

Additionally, we install and configure WebsitePanel control panel so you can manage all the functions of your websites, email accounts, FTP accounts, and database all from a secure control panel effortlessly.

By default, our Windows VPS servers are not PCI compliant, however we can reconfigure the firewall so you can pass any PCI compliancy issues you may have. Simply contact our support department to request this setup.

While we give you full Remote Desktop capability with the Administrator login so you can easily make any changes yourself, we do provide customer support if you have any issues getting your applications working on your server.

Finally, we manage the updates on your Windows server via WSUS on a remote server. If you have any requests on when updates should be applied and if required the server rebooted, just let us know and we’ll make a note on your account.

For anything not covered here, please don't hesitate to reach out to our suppor team for further questions.
