How are my referrals tracked? Print

Visitors are tracked using a cookie to record clicks and referrals generated through your tracking link.

The PeoplesHost Affiliate Program cookie is valid for 60 days and awarded on a last-click basis.

Example 1:
If a visitor clicks your affiliate tracking link and completes a purchase, you will see that pending referral in your Affiliate Dashboard.

Example 2:
Suppose a visitor clicks your affiliate tracking link, does not make a purchase, returns to the PeoplesHost website, and completes a purchase WITHIN 60 days of clicking your tracking link. In that case, you will see that pending referral in your Affiliate Dashboard.

Example 3:
Suppose a visitor clicks your affiliate tracking link, does not make a purchase, returns to the PeoplesHost website, and completes a purchase AFTER 60 days from clicking your tracking link. In that case, you will not see that pending referral in your Affiliate Dashboard.

Example 4:
Suppose a visitor clicks your affiliate tracking link and clears their browser's cookies afterward. In that case, our Affiliate Platform will not be able to track the referral if they return and make a purchase.
