To transfer a domain from 1and1 to PeoplesHost you'll want to follow the instructions below.
Transfer a Domain from 1and1 to PeoplesHost:
- Log into your 1and1 account - https://account.1and1.com/
- Click the settings dots to the far right of the domain
- Click Advanced Settings in the drop down menu
- Disable Private registration
- Disable Domain transfer lock
- Copy the Authorization code (you'll need this when you submit your domain tranfers at PeoplesHost)
NOTE: It is required that private registration and domain transfer lock are both disabled for a domain transfer to successfully go through.
- Log into your PeoplesHost billing account (client area) - https://my.peopleshost.com/clientarea.php
- Click Domains > Transfer Domains to Us
- Enter your domain name (without the www.)
- Enter your EPP/Auth code and click Add to Cart
