In this article, we will show you how to create a sub-domain in the WebsitePanel control panel.
This article applies to Windows shared customers and Windows VPS/Dedicated customers.
You will need to log into WebsitePanel. If you forgot your login credentials please refer to the Welcome email that was sent to you when you first signed up.
1) Log in to your WebsitePanel control panel.
2) Once logged in, simply click Domains from the list of available menu items as shown below.
3) Click Add Domain as highlighted below.
4) Click Sub-domain from the options shown below.
5) Enter the Sub-domain that you would like to create in the text field and click Add Domain to create the sub-domain.
Once the domain is added, please allow 5 minutes for the DNS to reload and the sub-domain to be available on the internet. If you have already visited the sub-domain, you may need to wait 12/24 hours for the DNS to propagate across the internet.
