An SSL certificate is bound to a domain and not a specific IP address. This means that if you are moving from a different hosting provider, you can take any SSL certificates you already purchased along with you.
For Linux certificates, please contact your current hosting company and have them provide the CER or sometimes referred too as CRT (actual certificate) and KEY (private key) files and we can install it on your account. If you were previsouly on a Windows server, your hosting company can export the certificate as a PFX (with password) and we can import that onto your server. If you are unable to get a PFX you can send the CRT and KEY and we'll convert the file to PFX and import it on your server.
Any questions, please contact us and we'll be happy to help get everything moved.
