It's not uncommon to see an IP Address trigger a block through the server's firewall. This happens for many different reasons.

To name a few, we commonly see IP Addresses trigger blocks due to the following:
- Incorrect email settings (password) configured on a third-party email client (Mac Mail App, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) on various devices such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, and laptops.
- Too many connections to the server from a particular IP Address.
- Too many failed login attempts to cPanel/WHM, Webmail, or the /wp-admin and wp-login.php pages of WordPress sites.
If a third-party (customer, client, developer, etc.) triggers a block from their IP Address and can't access or connect to their website, email accounts, webmail, FTP then you will need to Remove/Unblock their IP Address or whitelist their IP Address. Whitelisting an IP Address is not a permanent solution if their IP Address is dynamic.
You will need to have the IP Address of the person who is blocked. If they do not know their IP Address you can send them to https://my.peopleshost.com/myip.php
Log into WHM. Your login credentials were sent to you inside of the Welcome email when you first signed up. If you lost these credentials, please follow these instructions to view your past email notifications. If you forgot your WHM password, please contact support and have your Support PIN on hand.
Search for ConfigServer Security & Firewall and click the link under the Plugins heading.
Scroll down and look for Quick Allow
Enter the IP Address you wish to "Allow", comment the IP Address e.g., developer ip, john doe ip, office, etc. and click the button Quick Allow
You have successfully whitelisted the IP Address on the server's firewall.
